Meet Liz — Your Pregnancy Coach

Liz combines extensive clinical experience with a compassionate, down-to-earth approach to pregnancy and birth. As both a nurse and a midwife, she has spent decades supporting women through one of the most important seasons of their lives—helping them navigate pregnancy safely while honoring their individual needs, values, and preferences.

Her mission is simple: every woman deserves personalized support, clear guidance, and someone firmly in her corner throughout pregnancy. If you’re pregnant and feeling like you need more guidance than you’re getting at your appointments, you’re not alone. Liz created Loving My Pregnancy to offer the steady, individualized support she saw so many women missing. Based in Denver, she works with women locally and across the United States through virtual coaching. Her goal is to help you feel calm, informed, and confident throughout your pregnancy and early postpartum period.

Liz is a happily married mother of six and brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to her work. She worked as a licensed vocational nurse in the hospital setting for 14 years before becoming a midwife. She has been licensed as a nurse since 1997 and as a midwife since 2010. Liz is a licensed midwife in New Mexico, Texas, and Colorado, a Certified Professional Midwife through the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM), and a trained birth doula.

Known for her calm presence and deep trust in the birth process, Liz brings peace and reassurance to her clients during pregnancy and childbirth. She has a listening ear and a gift for helping women and their partners process fears or past negative birth experiences, preparing them to approach their next labor with trust, peace, and even joy.

Warm, approachable, and steady, Liz helps families feel safe and supported in every setting. She feels honored and blessed to provide care and guidance throughout pregnancy and childbirth, wherever that journey unfolds.

Why I Do This Work

Pregnancy is a huge life transition—physically, emotionally, and mentally. Over the years, I kept meeting women who felt overwhelmed, scared, or unsure about what was normal. Appointments were short, questions piled up between visits, and Google often made things more stressful instead of helpful.

I started pregnancy coaching because I wanted women to have someone in their corner—someone knowledgeable, approachable, and available when real-life questions come up. You deserve more than quick checkups. You deserve guidance that continues between appointments and adapts to your unique situation.

My Background

I’ve been a nurse since 1997 and became a midwife in 2010. I’m a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) and hold midwifery licenses in Texas and New Mexico, with recognition as a Direct-Entry Midwife in Colorado.

Over the course of my career, I’ve supported more than 500 women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery. That experience has taught me that while every pregnancy is different, most women share the same need: clear information, reassurance, and consistent support.

How I Support You

My approach is centered on education, prevention, and empowerment. I want you to understand what’s happening in your body so you can make decisions with confidence instead of fear.

Pregnancy coaching is not medical care, and it doesn’t replace your doctor or midwife. Instead, I work alongside your existing providers. I help you prepare for appointments, understand recommendations, and sort through the day-to-day concerns that don’t always fit into a quick office visit.

Everything I do is personalized. There’s no one-size-fits-all plan, because your health history, lifestyle, and preferences matter.

My Philosophy

I believe women deserve respectful, non-judgmental support. My role isn’t to tell you what to do—it’s to give you evidence-based information, practical tools, and a safe space to ask questions openly.

I focus on prevention whenever possible, helping you build healthy habits and recognize early signs that something may need attention. Just as importantly, I provide reassurance when things are normal but feel scary. Sometimes what you need most is simply someone knowledgeable saying, “Yes, that’s common,” or “Here’s what to watch for.”

What It’s Like to Work With Me

Clients often tell me they feel calmer and more prepared after our conversations. I take the time to listen carefully and answer questions thoroughly, without rushing you. You can bring up any physical symptoms, emotional ups and downs, birth concerns, or practical planning for life after the baby arrives.

Most of my services are virtual, which makes support accessible no matter where you live. For women in the Denver area, limited in-person options are available for an additional fee.

If you’re looking for steady guidance, reliable information, and a compassionate professional who will truly listen, I’d love to support you.
